Yes, today is Christmas Day! Haven't been celebrating Christmas for awhile (if I am not mistaken, since my mother's passing). Maybe coz' it was after the Christmas Dinner, my mum was admitted to hospital and the rest is history...
But Christmas has always been of special significance to me. Largely becoz' in the family, seemingly, Christmas is a more important celebration than any other festivities (including the Chinese New Year). Other than the fact that Christmas is a time of getting together, but it's also marks (for me) a time of get back together with God through the birth of Jesus Christ.
Yes, Christmas isn't about shopping, exchanging of gifts and lotsa of food. But Christmas signifies the birth of Christ for the good of mankind, bridging that canyon between God and Man.
Yes, Jesus is the Reason for the Season!
p.s. btw, dun ever say "Xmas", we are not crossing out Christmas. Although the devil would have very much hoped and wished that Christmas was crossed out~! lolz~! =)
Blessed Christmas to All~! Tjowster Out~!
